How
do you chose a supplier for your domain name or website hosting?
With everyone
offering to register your domain name how do you choose the one
that is right for you?
We have compiled a check list of
questions you should ask.
1) Will the domain name be
registered in your organisations name? This is very important as
this defines who the name belongs to. There may be charges to get
control of your domain name later on. We always register our
customers domains in their name.
2) Are there any hidden charges?
For example to tansfer your domain to a new ISP. This is a good
indication of the quality of the service you will get. If there
are charges to leave they don't need to keep you with good
service. We will not charge you if you want to transfer your
domain name to another ISP.
3) How fast is their server? We are
committed to providing a fast connection for all our customers.
With no hidden transfer charges we know we have to offer the best
service to keep your custom.
4) Do they provide other
services? At some point you will want to do something with your
domain. Are you going to have to transfer to another ISP? We
provide a range of hosting options.
5) What do you get with your
domain name? Most provide web and email forwarding but check what
they offer. Are there any bandwidth or data transfer limitations?
Are there any hidden charges if you exceed these? We provide web
forwarding and email forwarding as standard. Anything@yourdomain
will be forwarded to your email address.
6) What support do they provide?
Is someone going to answer the phone or your emails when you want
to change ISP or buy a different hosting package?
Our call back line is open 9am to 9pm every weekday.
Simply click on the call back button, or call the voice mail number
and we will call you back.
